My exhibition of photographs from Cuba opened on Sunday, October 11th at the Evanston Civic Center amid a lot of buzz from friends and new acquaintances. The exhibit will remain on display through the end of this calendar year at 2100 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, IL and is open to the public during all normal business hours and most evenings.
Here’s some of the early news about the exhibit:
Local photographer Jerry Alt is exhibiting approximately 50 original photographic works from his April 2015 trip to Cuba, with an opening reception on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The reception will be held at the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, IL.

I am now using the Phase One medium format camera system, with the iQ180 (80 whopping megapixels) digital back. While I still have to perfect my workflow I am extremely pleased with the level of detail in my photos, and can’t wait to use it for not only portrait studio work but out in the field.
